Hello, there!
I'm Coach Cristina Mazzeo.
I see so many people who feel stuck—trapped in patterns that keep them from moving forward. They’re going through the motions, caught up in challenges that, with the right guidance, they can overcome. It breaks my heart when people believe they’re powerless to change—that their past dictates their future. My gift is helping clients recognize their unique mental strengths and natural skill sets so they can shift their perspective, break free from what’s holding them back, and move toward a more empowered, fulfilling life.
My Story and Coaching "Why"
When I was a teenager, my world collapsed. After age 4, my natural father "disappeared" from my life. Like most children, I created a narrative in my head about the great person he must be and the things we’d do one day once we reconnected.
Flash-forward to my later teens when I learned shocking news: My father was serving a life sentence in prison for rape and murder—making me the child of a rapist and murderer. After absorbing this reality, I questioned every story, belief, and narrative I had built about myself. In an instant, I saw my new truth as inferior and limited—not because of my choices, but because of how others might perceive me and how that perception could shape my future.
I didn’t know a lot about myself at that age, but I did know how damaging labels could be. Growing up in one low-income location after another, with an addicted stepparent, had already thrust me headlong into the labeling game. Labels are either a box you allow others to place you in or a box you hide in based on how you see yourself.
I eventually found the right support to help me separate facts from the limiting beliefs I had accepted as truth. Through the difficult work of embracing my full story—every broken piece—I realized that my perception of myself had the power to shape my future, and I immediately knew that helping others break free from their own limiting narratives was my life’s calling. My mission became clear: to help people recognize the difference between the stories holding them back and the truth of their own strength and potential.
So many people feel stuck—trapped by the thought patterns and internal narratives that keep them from achieving their goals. Whether it’s starting a business, losing weight, becoming a parent, or simply stepping into a more fulfilling life, the first step is recognizing the power you already have within you. My passion is helping clients break free from self-imposed limitations and tap into their inner resources to create the life they truly want.
Because I believe in this mission so deeply, I’ve expanded my work to include empowerment coaching for young adults, business owners, and individuals ready to shift their mindset and move forward. My superpower is “seeing into people”—trusting my intuition, understanding the unique energy each client brings, and uncovering the strengths they may not even realize they have. I’m not afraid to push a little harder, listen a little deeper, or challenge limiting beliefs when it’s the best medicine.
I want the world to be a better place because I was here—and that’s why this is my life’s work.
